Introduction: How to Make a Mac Talk to You

 This instructable will show you how to make a mac talk to you.

Step 1: First

 The first thing you need to do is go into system preferences and click speach.

Step 2: Second

 Next you need to chose what voice you want it to read to you with. You can also chose the speed that it will read to you. After you do that you can press the play button (to the right of the speed bar) so you can hear the voice.

Step 3: Third

 After you do that go down and click on the set key button. Chose the key(s) you want to use to command a mac to read to you. Click OK and exit out of the window.

Step 4: Fourth

Then when you have some really long page that you want your mac to read to you, Hi-light the text and press the command you entered. (if this doesn't work read through step 3 again)

Step 5: Practice

 If you want you can practice on the sentences below:

The dog barked at the passing car.

The boy loved to play Video Games.

The person in the car honked at the crazy truck driver.
