Introduction: How to Make a Prezi

Creating a Basic Prezi
Prezi goes beyond average PowerPoint and Keynote in that it is more interactive and it is
available anywhere there is Internet. If done correctly, a Prezi presentation
will look professional. To create your own Prezi presentation, first go to
Prezi.com and set up a free account by providing the information required. In
these instructions, you will find an example presentation within the images,
but you can substitute your own information.

Step 1: How to Start

Once you complete setting up your free account, a welcome screen should appear. Choose
to either watch the tutorial, view another user’s prezi, or skip to creating a
presentation yourself.

Step 2:

Click on the “New Prezi” option. Then that will bring you to a page that looks like this,
where you can click on an appropriate template of your choice.

Step 3: Entering Information Into Prezi

Click on the title slide to insert text and enter the phrase Dog Breeds

Step 4:

Double-click on the first circle on the screen below the title to begin typing your text.
Enter the information you see in the images below. If you want to move on to another circle,
then click on the next slide on the sidebar. After entering text, you’ll see a
box come up above it where you can adjust font size, style, and color if
necessary.

Step 5:

Select a slide and click insert to include an image. Once the image is selected click
and drag it to where you want it to be, then adjust the size of the image.

Step 6:

Select a slide and click insert (on the top of the screen) to include videos by
selecting “YouTube video.” Copy the YouTube link of your choice and paste it
into where it says “paste YouTube link.” Then, you may click insert to add it
to your presentation.

Step 7: Formatting Your Prezi

Click and drag “circle frame” option found on the top of the sidebar to add more
circles for text and images into the presentation field to where it is
necessary.

Step 8:

If there are extra circles that you don’t need then delete them by clicking “edit path.”
Then you can move your cursor over to the sidebar to the slide you’d like to
delete, and click the red X in the corner to remove it from the presentation.

Step 9:

Click edit path to set the order of the presentation. Click and drag the images on the
sidebar to rearrange your circles into the order you want to have.

Step 10: Finishing Your Prezi

Click on the floppy disk image in the top left corner of the presentation to save it.

Step 11:

Click “exit” in the top right corner. This will bring you to a page where you can
click on “Untitled Prezi” and change the title

Step 12:

Click on “Present Remotely” when ready to present to your audience.
