How to Make a Twin Bed - Part II the Headboard

This video is Part II of a three part series on how to make a twin bed. In this video, I show you how to make a headboard. In Part I, I made the frame on which the mattress will sit on. In this video I made the headboard.

This is where you can let your creative juices flow. There are a few things you need to consider when making the headboard, size, location in room, etc. I already knew where the bed was going in my daughters room, which was under a window. I didn’t want the headboard to be to tall and block the window so I had to make it short. I was fine with that and I think the end product turned out great.

If you are making this for one of your kids, have them participate in the project. Have them help with the design of the headboard. Make it a family project.
