Introduction: How to Make a Coffee Can Jet Engine.
Step 1: Materials
one large coffee can
one small coffee can
a 8"x8" piece of 1/4" plywood
bare steel wire
24" plastic tube 1/4"
small propane bottle
blow torch fittings
air pump for air mattress
1/2" wood drill
lighter
small paint can lid
gallon paint can lid
battery or other power supply
Step 2:
construct everything like the picture. red is the wires.

It is just a first attempt. It had almost no thrust. But i made it longer and added a more powerful fan. I will add more pictures, and show more videos. In this form it is just a large blow torch.

Sigh, to be a jet engine you need to be producing thrust - From what I could see this is not so.
When you have air + Propane + combustion chamber is a goo blow lamp at present. Nice hot flame but not much jet engine

I just watched the video (hold the camera the right way up next time!), and I don't see any "jet" at all.
You need to show us photographs (not video-grabs) of the actual build - as far as I can see, this is currently just a fairly large Bunsen burner.

How much thrust are you developing? Or, unless the color correction is WAY off in the first picture, are you just burning stuff in a can?
