How to Make a Golden Knife

It's a simple electroplating process. You need

• a carbon steel knife
• gold electrolyte
• electroplating set (or 2x AA batteries, wires and a metal rod with a sponge on top)

Step 1: Electroplating the Knife

1. connect a wire from the metal rod with sponge to + of the 2AA batteries
2. connect a wire from the knife to - of the 2AA batteries
3. put the sponge in the gold electrolyte and gently sweep over the knife
