Engines are fabulous to you knexers and engine lovers out there, eh? But, what I and some of you of course don't like is the loads of work and the loads of pieces it needs. :-P So this is an engine that (1)doesn't need alot of pieces, and(2)doesn't need alot of work on it.

So, I hope you enjoy this instructables on how to make a v8 engine. (Please comment.)

Step 1: The Parts List.

Rods:
White-18
Grey-1
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Connectors:
Purple/Grey-4
Red-16
White-5

Total:44 KNEX PIECES!!!!!!!!

Step 2: The Bottom.

Get your grey rod and slide a white connector on it. Then, clip a purple/grey connector on the rod. Repeat again and again until you run out of white connectors. CAUTION!!! Do not put another purple/grey connector on!
Do as in the pic.
Tips:
You might want to put on some temporary clips on so the white connectors won't slip out.

Step 3: The Top/cylinders.

Take your red connectors and your white rods and connect them by clipping the red connectors and the white rods. Make 2 of this.

Step 4: Assembling Top and Bottom Together.

just assemble by attaching the top and bottom together.

Step 5: The Pistons.

attach the remaining red connectors and the remaining white rods together. then, insert it into the red connector holes and thread a rubber band on both sides.

Step 6: A Test Vid And.........You're Done!:D
