Introduction: How to Make a Rubber-band Pistol
I cant believe i couldn't find anyone else making one of these. All this is is wood and a clothespin in the basic design, but mod this up and creates multi-shot ones or crossbows.
Step 1: Materials
All you need for your rubber-band pistol is a peice of scrap wood with around 2 in. X 4-8 in. X 1/4 of an inch. You will also need a small nail and a clothespin.
The wood needs to be cut at a 45 degree angle on one side and pretty flat on the other side.
Step 2: Add Everything Else
Take the clothespin apart and attach the bottom part (wood) to the 45 degree angle so the tip just clears the edge. Nail this in. Then put all the parts of the clothespin on it and your ready to shoot.
Step 3: Shoot Something... Hopefully Something
Just put a rubber band in between the "jaws" of the clothespin and on the end. With a little practice this can shoot well enough.

this is inspiration for my newly in progress pistolized skewer gun, see the date on upper right:)
and it will be multi-shot with a simple triggering mechanism patented by patented on his skewer gun involving one of those black clips, the smaller the better, next I'll try to make a multi-shot organ pen artillery for school warfare that fires five at a time. And then uhh....... maybe, I'll make up my mind, for now if your making weapons, join my group @ https://www.instructables.com/groups/ballisticarmory
Instant membership but your instructables will be checked by me, as long as
it causes terror I will allow it, expect your instructable to be checked in 1-2 days and less than week when summer's over :)
