Introduction: How to Make a Servo and Ardiuno Stand
In this instructible I will show you how I make my servo stand. This stand is useful if you want to test a new way to control a servo but dont want to use a servo on your robot or something. make
For this project you will need;
1 servo
1 arduino
1ft 2x4
1 paint ster-stick (or other pice of then wood)
8 1 and 1/2 inch finish nails(or small skrews)
3 1 inch wire brad nails
4 servo mounting skrews(most servos come with then, if yours didn't find skrews that will work)
pin headers (3 pins)
saw
hamer and or skrew driver
nedle nosed plyers
pencle

Step 1: Cut the Wood
cut 2 5inch pieces of 2x4
then measure the short side of the servo and add 2inches then cut 2 pieces of paint stirrer to this measurement
then measure the short side of the servo and add 2inches then cut 2 pieces of paint stirrer to this measurement
Step 2: Put It Togather
First -skrew the servo on to the paint stiks, there sould be 1 inch of stik hanging out each end.
Second -lay the servo asembaly on the 2x4s (laying flat on a table) and push togather until the 2x4s are touching the servo and nail the -stirrers to the 2x4 with the finish nails puting two in each piece.
Then lay your ardiuno on the wood and use the pencl to mark were the mounting holes are then drive the wire brads in to the marks (but only part way)

Step 3: Make the Servo Achment
this step is optinal, take the pin heder and push the plastic part down until it is in the middle of the pins, you can now plug one side in the servo wire and the other into a proto board.
