How to Make a Square Snowflake

List of Materials:
1.    8 ½in x 11in computer paper
2.    Scissors
3.    Creativity

Step 1:

Place paper in portrait orientation and leave the paper in this position until finished folding

Step 2:

Fold the bottom edge up to the top edge

Step 3:

Fold the left edge to the right edge

Step 4:

Fold diagonally so the bottom edge of the paper is flush with the left edge

Step 5:

Cut off the rectangular portion on top, leaving a triangle

Step 6:

The bottom point is the center of your snowflake

Step 7:

Cut shapes from any of the three sides

Note: Completely cutting off either folded edge will make the snowflake fall apart
Note: Cutting from one side to another will remove the section furthest from the center of the snowflake
