Introduction: How to Make a Toy Microscope (works Like Real One)
I am going to show you how i made my own microscope, this whole walkthrough is just the finished microscope that i've disassembled and assembled again to show you how i made it, all the parts that i've used are all junk, and the great part of this project is that it magnifies like the real deal!
so enjoy, and don't forget to vote for it in any contest that i have joined, cheers!

Step 1: Parts!
This is one of the good part of this instructable, i didn't bought any parts in this projects, just dive in to yer junk box and look for parts
here are the parts list:
-steal wire
-small Tic-Tac cartridges, or any replacement that you think you can use
-wires
-LED
-a lens (i got it from an old pc camera)
-a rubber band
-battery pack (i got it from an old tv remote)
-switch (any type of switch, even sandwich)
Tools:
-tape
-scissors
-(yep, no soldering required)

Step 2: Main Body (with Stage, and Back Light)
i used a Tic-Tac cartridge as the main body, i have added an LED inside it as a back light,
first, punch 2 hole on the Tic-Tac box, one in the front and one in the side
add the LED(connected with wires) inside the Tic-tac box, with wires protruding from the side hole and the LED in the front hole.

Step 3: Arm and Lens....joined With the Main Body
I used a steal wire for the arm, just bend it like in the picture, be sure that the lens could fit in the hole of the steal wire,
now for the lens, i used hacked an old pc camera (you can see it in the picture) and removed the lens from it.
join the lens and the arm as you can see in the 3rd picture and tape the main body to the arm as you can see in the 4th picture.

Step 4: Circuit
now, connect the wires of the switch, and connect it together with the batteries and the LED using the schematics in the first picture
Step 5: Attach It All Together
place all the parts together as you can see in the 1st picture, attach all the parts using a rubber band as you can see in the 2nd picture, and also place the switch on the side within the rubber band, be sure that the wires are not jumbled together like a jungle and make a short circuit!!
Step 6: Petri Dish
i used a transparent laminating sheet and cut it in strips to make my own Petri dishes
Step 7: Now, to Test It!
First, add a specimen on the petri dish
place it between the lens and the main body, be sure to align the specimen in the lens so you can see it properly,
adjust the lens by moving it up or down from the "arm"
as you can see in the 4th and 5th pictures, they are kinda blurry...i blame my camera! but i can assure you that ir is very clear in the naked eye.
