Introduction: How to Make an “ANDON”
“ANDON” is a lantern. It spread 300 years ago in Japan.
“ANDON” was made of a bamboo, a tree branch, a metal wire, and so on.
I upcycle an empty can to make the “ANDON”.
Give it a try!!
Step 1: Prepare the Empty Can
Prepare the empty can.
File it with sandpaper.
Step 2: Paint the Undercoating
Paint the undercoating.
Spray the can.
Step 3: Like This!!
Like this.
Step 4: Draw a Cutting Line
Draw a cutting line.
Step 5:
Cut the can with utility knife.
Be careful not to cut your fingers!
Step 6:
Fix a handle a double sided tape.
Step 7: You Finished It!!
