Introduction: How to Make Contact With UHF RFID Reader Ethernet

Hardware list
1soliddigi TTL UART UHF RFID reader module
2Soliddigi Spruce Board (STM32 Arduino ARM)
3Soliddigi UHF RFID antenna

Installation of system

Step 1:

1Connect Spruce with UHF RFIDthrough 3 wires
The jump wire connection is as follows:
1 . Spruce GPIO pin 40 -> UHF RFID GND
2 . Spruce GPIO pin 14 -> UHF RFID RXD
3 . Spruce GPIO pin 15 -> UHF RFID TXD.
2USB connecting line is linked to PC or other USB HOST, providing 5V power supply to Spruce. ( When operating it, we can use the 3V power supply on UHF RFID as as the working power for Spruce)
33V/2A power supply adapter provides working power for UHF RFID
4UHF RFID antenna interface is connected to RFID 902-928MHz antenna
5RJ45 is connected to Ethernet interface on PC

Step 2:

Environment Configuration
1 Set IP on PC

Step 3:

At PC end, set TCP/IP protocol, manual configuration:
IP address192.168.1.1
Subnet mask:255.255.255.0
Default gateway:192.168.1.1
2PC communicates with UHF RFID Reader through Ethernet
The TCP IP test tool can be downloaded here.

The following is a screen shot of using TCP to read the tag:
1 Set NetSetting as folows:
ProtocolTCP Client
Server IP192.168.1.15
Server Port1200
2 Click button Connect
3 If the window of Network Data receive shows Greatconnect success, it means you have connected them successfully.

Step 4:

Scan the tag:
1 Set HEX to send and receive
2 Input the tag-scanning command: 43 04 01 cd, and click Send
3 The tag’s ID value will be shown on Network Data receive

Step 5:

By decoding the message, we can see that one tag is found,
