Step 2: Nail Polish
Step 3: Acrylic Nails
Supplies: orange stick or toothpick, shot glass or cup (the smaller the circumference, the less polish you end up wasting), room temp. water, nail polish, pincet
Step 4: The Trick Is Warm Water
Fill your cup with some warm or room temperature water. If the water is too cold, the nail polish will seize up.
Choose the polishes you want to work with
Step 5: Nail Polish Into the Warm Water
let a big drop of polish fall into the water.Continue with the other colors until you have a few concentric circles of polish in the water.
Step 6: Using the Toothpick or Orange Stick
Using the toothpick or orange stick, drag through the polish from the edge toward the middle. Continue to drag the stick through the polish until you find a design that you think looks pretty.
Step 7: Dip Your Fingernail Into the Glass,
dip your fingernail into the glass, making sure it is completely submerged.
Step 8: Use the Toothpick/orange Stick to Trace Around Your Fingernail
Use the toothpick/orange stick to trace around your fingernail, gathering up all the unused nail polish in the glass
Step 9: Lift Your Fingernail Out of the Glass, and Let Dry
Lift your fingernail out of the glass, and let dry
Step 10: Continue With Your Other Nails Until You Have a Full Set of Beautifully Water Marbled Nails
Continue with your other nails until you have a full set of beautifully water marbled nails.
Slick on your favorite top coat and Voila!

Is there any way to water marble your own nails? Or do they have to be acrylic

Yeah. I have tried this when I was way younger and it is super simple.
Basically all you need is a cup, your choice of nail polish, warm water, and nail polish remover and follow the insrutctions here except when it says dip the acrylic nail, dip your own.

Very pretty.I love the green and orange at the end. I do it on my natural nails, so I paint my nail with a thin layer of nail polish (usually white) first, then I dip my fingernail in the cup. Then I clean my finger around the nail with a q-tip soaked with polish remover. Either way they turned out really nice :)
