Introduction: How to Make White Phosphorus

White phosphorus in a alliotrope of phophorus. It is highly toxic and can ignite when exposed to air.
Here are some materials and chemicals you will need to make white phosphorus: Glass retort
Glass container
Eye protection
Breathing mask or fume hood
Gloves
Butane torch
Tripod for glass retort
Table spoon
Chemical:
Water
Old urine
Cinnimon powder
Charcoal dust


Step 1: Step 1

Let the urine sit out for at least 7 days. Then mix in 2 table spoons of cinnimon powder and charcoal dust and stir.

Step 2: Step 2

Pour the mixture into a glass retort with the glass tube leading into the glass container filled with plain water. Heat the glass retort with the butane torch until it bubbles up into the glass container. Wear the eyeprotection, gloves and protective clothing at all times.

Step 3: Step 3

Once the vapors have collected on the bottom of glass container, you will have made white phosphorus. If you take the phosphorus out, be preparied for it to ignite. Also, it will slowly turn into red phosphorus if left in the water for too long. It will be far more stable than white phosphorus, but still take caution.
