This instructable will teach you how to put music from a CD onto an iPad, or any iDevice. Remember, I have not used an iMac, or a Mac much, so I don't know how to do it on a Mac. Because of that, I only know how to to do it on Windows. Sorry!

Let's Get Started!
Step 1: Download ITunes
First, you have to download iTunes. You can get it here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ Click the button labeled "Download Now. (Picture 1) The iTunes installer should download. (Picture 2) After downloading, run the file it downloaded, (Picture 3) then allow the file to install iTunes. (Not Pictured)
Step 2: Open ITunes
Now, you have to open iTunes. Again, this is easy! To open iTunes, double click the pictured icon. iTunes should open. If it doesn't open, try again. If it doesn't work, try reinstalling iTunes.
Step 3: Put the CD Into the Drive
Next, put the CD into the Disc drive. This is easy! If you have a computer Disc drive that has a disc cover/drawer, open that, then put the CD in. Depending on the Disc drive, you may also need to click the CD in. Other times you just need to place the CD in the the drive. If you have a slot-loading drive, it is even easier! Just slide the CD in part of the way, and the drive should just do the rest.
Step 4: Import the Music to ITunes
Next, import the music to iTunes. This step is optional. To do this, say yes to import the CD, if you want it to import the entire CD. If you only want to import some songs, say no, then uncheck the songs you don't want imported, and leave the songs you want imported checked, then click import CD. iTunes will import the songs.
Step 5: Put the Music on the IDevice
Finally, you have to put the music on the iDevice. To do that, click, hold, and drag the music file to [InsertString: name]'s iDevice. The Device in iDevice will be replaced with "Pad", "Pod", or "Phone". Let go of the music file on "[InsertString: name]'s iDevice". The music is now on the iDevice! Sorry about the image not being a screenshot taken with Snipping Tool, I didn't know how to use Snipping Tool to take a screenshot with the menu I need to take a screenshot of with it.
Step 6: You're Done!
Now You Are Done! You now have your CD on your iPad/iPod/iPhone! Thank you for reading!
