Introduction: How to Rebroadcast WIFI As Your Own Network, FROM YOUR LAPTOP!

In this instructable I'll show you how to rebroadcast WIFI from your laptop as your own password protected network. You will need a laptop running Windows 7, as the software requires some of the advances that Window 7 makes, and use a newer laptop because your WIFI card might not work.

Step 1: Step 1: Did It Say Software?

YES! I did! This runs completely on software. You will need to download Connectify, which takes around 5-10 minutes. It's free!

Step 2: Step 2: Set Up

 there will be a little icon on the right hand of your taskbar, click it and it will open the Connectify controls. Enter your network name, your password, and what internet connection you want to share.

Step 3: Step 3: Connect

I'm using my iPod. Just connect as you usually would.

Step 4: Done.

Now you can rebroadcast WIFI as your own network, or rebradcast your own and lengthen your range. Connectify doesn't have an option for no pasword yet, but I'm hoping it will soon.
