Introduction: How to Skip Unlimited Times on Pandora Internet Radio

Pandora Internet Radio is nice to have, but sometimes you want to skip more than the six songs they allow for. I'm going to show you how to skip as many times as you want, and it doesn't matter if you're logged in or not!

Step 1: Cookies

The way Pandora keeps track of the number of skips you've used isn't by checking your account, it uses something called "cookies".

Cookies are simply a (delicious) way for websites to store information to your computer that your computer will send BACK to the website every time you access it.

An example of this is when your email stays logged in on your computer, even after you close it, so you don't need to log back in again next time you visit the site.

This is how Pandora keeps track of how many times you've skipped songs. It will leave information on your computer about how many skips you've used that your computer sends back to Pandora every time you visit. So even if you restart your browser then go back to Pandora, it still knows how many skips you've used.

However... There is a way to work around this.

Step 2: Delete the Cookies

What we need to do is tell our browser to DELETE the cookies every time the browser quits, that way our computer doesn't send anything to Pandora about how many skips we've used, and cause Pandora assume that we haven't used any at all.

MAC USERS:

If you're using Google Chrome,  click Chrome, then Preferences, then Show Advanced Settings, Content Settings (Under Privacy), and then click the option that says "Keep local data only until I quit my browser." Then save your settings. This way the cookies clear as soon as you quit Google Chrome.

You can also enter Incognito Mode which doesn't save anything at all until you turn it off. You can get here by pressing "Shift + Command + N" on the keyboard, or File, New Incognito Window. You can keep opening new incognito windows anytime you run out of Pandora skips, without having to lose your progress in your regular windows, which is an even faster way of doing it.

If you use Mozilla Firefox, click Firefox, then Preferences, then Privacy, then under the cookies section, click keep until "I close my browser". There's also a "Always use private browsing mode" which should do the same thing.

If your a Safari user, you'll have to clear your cookies manually each time you want to reset your skips. To do this, go to Safari, Preferences, Privacy, then click "Remove All Website Data". But you need to make sure you don't have Pandora open when you clear everything, or else it won't work.

WINDOWS USERS: I don't have a Windows computer, but I found this that should be helpful:

Step 3:

If you followed the steps mentioned, you should now be able to get an infinite number of skips... However, I'm afraid I can't help you if you ever need to skip to a number beyond that...
