In this instructable I will show you how to build a pvc pipe lamp

Supplies

for this project you will need:

8 3/4in elbows

6 3/4in 45 degree elbows

2 3/4in tee

3/4in pvc

lamp circuit I got mine out of an old lamp

hot glue

black spray paint

Step 1: The Base

We will start by building the body

First take one of the tees and add 5cm piece on each side then add two elbows

Step 2: Right Leg

Add 12cm piece to the right side of the tee.

Now add another elbow to the right leg. next add 14.5cm piece to the right leg and a 45 degree elbow

Step 3: Left Leg

Next we will add 12cm piece to the left leg and an elbow. Now add a 14.5cm piece to the left leg and a 45 degree elbow. The 45 degree elbows are the dudes feet and hands.

Step 4: Spine

Next we will add a 3cm piece to the end of the tee then a 45 degree elbow and then a 16cm piece.

Step 5: Shoulders

First place a tee on top of the spine and two 5cm pieces to the tee. Next add two elbows.

Step 6: Right Arm

Now we will add a 9cm piece to the right shoulder and a 45 degree elbow. Next add a 7.5cm piece to the arm and a 45 degree elbow for the hand.

Step 7: Left Arm

For the left arm add a 9cm piece to the shoulder and an elbow. next add a 7.5cm piece for the forearm and a 45 degree elbow.

Step 8: Wire Holes

Drill two 1/2 in holes in the guy for the wires. Drill one on the top of the shoulders and one on the bottom.

Step 9: Lamp Shade

To make the lamp shade you will need a plastic party cup. Then cut a hole in the bottom big enough for the lamp socket.

Step 10:

Shove the lamp socket in the hole in the bottom of the cup and secure it with hot glue.

Step 11: Neck

Now hot glue an elbow to the top of the shoulders.

Step 12: Attach Head

Thread the cord through the neck and body and out the bottom hole. Then glue the socket and lamp shade to the neck. Use lots of hot glue!

Step 13: Plug

Attach a plug to the and of the cord. Be sure to get polarity correct if you do not it can electrify the hole lamp socket!

Step 14: Finished!
