Great tutorial! Being a crafter, I have used foam board to compartmentalise all sorts of bits and pieces. The one that serves me best is the one in which I separate my socks into pairs! If I am concerned about dust getting onto the stored items I use a clear wrapping as a cover.

That's a good simple storage solution :) We use something similar to keep our tea in!

yeah... it can be used for many purposes. I just made it since I had extra forex board from my last project.

Lotta work and what you are left with requires a lot of storage space .
My approach is to put them in a book form and stand them on the shelf.
How you do that is buy the plastic photo albums from cheapie shops and put parts in the envelopes with notes on paper of sizes etc then use a small strip of double sided tape to seal the mouth .
Stand anywhere ,lay down , take with you.

That's a good idea !! I appreciate it !!!

I think... its better for storage but not for daily use.... The sharp pins of IC may damage the envelope/ plastic... also it will be very difficult to get things at the right time... since this is an open box I can get to know things in a single glance...

after all.. your idea can save a lot of time!
