Hello! This is my first instructable. I'd like to share my process of repair broken cable's insulation.

You know how apple's cable can be corrupted easy, so if can't use them carefully, you shoul do this first.

Step 1: Heat Shrink Stretch

I took white heat shrink pipe 5 mm diametr. This color looks better, right? =)

You ask me - how it is possible, 5mm does not fit! Here is a little trick. We need stretch it.

And because it so small, after heat up it will fit very tight.

Cut about 2 cm. Put on scissors and pull in different directions very carefully. Pipe can break.

You need repeat it twice for both ends with rotation on 90 degrees after first stretch.

Step 2: Put It on and Heat Up

The easiest part. Just don't overheat all.

You can repeat this many times and use different sizes of heat shrink if you want reinforce it better.
