Imbolc Sheep

This sheep stick puppet is an easy and fun craft to create for Imbolc!

Step 1: Supplies

- white card stock
- cotton balls
- glue (any craft glue will do)
- black and pink markers or pens
- scissors
- popsicle stick, tongue depressor, paint stirrer, or straw

Step 2: Draw Sheep Body

With the black marker, draw a large oval for your sheep's body, 4 rectangles for legs, a head, 2 ears, and a tail.

Step 3: Draw Face and Hooves

Using the black and pink markers, draw your sheep's face, hooves, and inside ears.

Step 4: Cut Out Shapes

Cut out the sheep's body, legs, tail, head, and ears.

Step 5: Create Your Sheep!

- Glue cotton balls on your sheep's body and tail.
- Glue head, tail, and ears onto body.
- Glue legs onto sheep body.

Step 6: Create Stick Puppet

On the back of the sheep's body, glue the popsicle stick, tongue depressor, or straws... whatever you have on hand.

Step 7: Your Sheep Is Complete!

Use your sheep to share the story of the awakening earth and the first stirrings of spring at the time of Imbolc.
