This is a house that I designed on Autodesk Revit Architecture. The house is a 1,500 sq. ft. modern rambler with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, great room, kitchen, dining room, utility, and a 3 car garage. It has over 100 components including cabinets, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, appliances, furniture, electronics... I wanted to take my instructable to the next level by creating an HD video with interior/exterior views and a 3D walkthrough. I've spent a lot of time (over 2 1/2 months) on this project. Step 1: The Bedrooms

In these three bedrooms I have created a unique layout and used modern furniture in a sleek way. I loaded several modern components such as a Mac computer, IKEA bed set, and a Bose sound system into the design. These rooms have been decorated, and furnished with distinct decor to enhance architectural appeal.

Step 2: The Bathrooms

In these three bathrooms, I designed them in such a way as to serve the ultimate functionality and purpose. They sport smooth-surface granite counter tops complemented with bold Kohler fixtures and ornate tile flooring. These layouts appeal to the ultra deluxe lifestyle and would suite a custom home.

Step 3: The Great Room

In this spacious great room I have designed a functional room with entertainment in mind. The nearly wall to wall flat screen tv is integrated with a surround sound system, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and a Blu Ray DVD player. These features incorporate into the open concept feel this room offers. Fresh textures style the floor, and a contemporary leather couch awaits.

Step 4: The Kitchen

In this state-of-the-art space, I have designed the ultimate kitchen for functionality. Featuring a high end Sub-Zero refrigerator, a commercial range, and an embankment of cabinetry. This hard wood floored kitchen is sure to impress.

Step 5: The Dining Room

Just adjacent to my kitchen design sits an accessible modern dining room. This space is surrounded by floor to ceiling dramatic windows, and offers seating for nine. Modern furniture also provides this room with a progressive feel.

Step 6: The Utility

In this functional utility room, a large sight-level window gives plenty of natural light to those working in this space. Equipped with a washer and dryer, coat rack, storage, and smooth tile floor, this room is designed to achieve maximum efficiency.

Step 7: The Garage

This expansive garage features multiple car spots and a huge workshop. There is plenty of room to store big "toys" in this DIY-inspiring man space. For this design a Lamborghini and Jeep sit waiting in the garage. Also with this large workspace, there is plenty of room to store tools, parts, and equipment for the next innovative project.
