Introduction: Install 30" Single Row LED Light Bar on 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL

This guide will show you how to install a 30" ultra-slim single-row Jeep LED light bar on the 2018 and later Jeep Wrangler JL. The JL beautifully retains the iconic body design that Wranglers have become known for while expertly weaving modernity into its template. So as usual, the Jeep Wrangler lends itself to many offroad LED light additions. A slim LED light bar adds to the overall adventurous feel, instead of being glaring and gaudy.

Please note that this LED light bar kit will NOT accommodate the Jeep Wrangler JK model.

Step 1: Remove the Size 45 Torx Bolts From the Hood Hinges.

Step 2: Bolt on 1 Metal Mounting Bracket.

Secure the support bracket using the included hex screws and washers.

As you can see in the 3rd image, you will not be able to secure the Jeep LED light bar because the built-in bolts will get in the way.

The light bar mounting brackets you see in the images are prototypes. You will receive them powder-coated so that you get a nice clean look.

Step 3: Mount the LED Light Bar in Between the 2 Metal Support Brackets.

Loosely secure the other bracket using 1 hex screw and washer. Slide in the LED light bar so that the mounting bracket rotates into its bolt. At this point, you may fully bolt in the rest of the hardware and screw in the LED light bar.

Step 4: Final Steps

Wire the LED light bar using the relay wiring harness with on/off switch.

Test the LED light bar to make sure it fully lights up. Once you've confirmed that it works, you may now enjoy your Jeep Wrangler JL's brand new ultra slim 30" LED light bar!
