Introduction: Instamorph Buttons (that Look Like Eyes)

Make these unique buttons to use on dolls or costumes. Or make similar ones you design for your project!

Step 1: Materials

Instamorph, plastic gems and glue.

Acrylic paint, if desired.

Various tools.

Step 2: Prepare the Instamorph

Step 3: Mold the Eye Shape

Reheat the Instamorph as needed.

Create 2 eye shaped flat pieces.

Step 4: Attach the Loop to Back of Button

Roll Instamorph into a log and then flatten with a tool.

Cut off piece of the flat log, loop it around and attach to button.

Reheat to ensure the loop is firmly attached.

Let cool.

Step 5: Paint Edges, If Desired, and Glue on Gems

Step 6: You Have Buttons!
