Invent-o-matic!

(huge thanks to the teachers in maker school who gave me the idea)

you want to be an inventor, but you haven't got any ideas? try this and you're problems would be quickly solved!

Supplies

you will need:

some paper

pens

pair of scissors

Step 1: Invent Inc.

time to make the invent factory! get a well-sized peice of paper(i used A4) and draw out like this shown in the picture.

Step 2: Invent Cards

now let's make some cards. cut out an A4 and make small cards no bigger then the sqaures in the factory. when you're finished with the cards, write "thing" on one side and write the name of every-day objects you see around.

as an example: thing/chair, thing/key, thing/desk

Step 3: Inventing Time!

time for some random inventings! set out the cards in the factory randomly with the "thing" side up. afther you set it all up, flip the card and reveal the object written on it. combine the two objects on two cards lying down horizontally, and you have yourself a brand-new invention!
