Injection machinery is used to manufacture different types of products

effectively by direct injection of the plastic to form the product.

Among the products that can be manufactured with injection machinery are containers, plastic bottles, tapers, household utensils, caps and any plastic object.

Our objective for the construction of this injector is to manufacture filament for 3d printer since the filament for 3D printing in Peru is very expensive.

Supplies

Materials:

-funnel

-Spindle

-Tube

-Reduce motor

-Resistors (heaters)

-Arduino

-Solid state relays

-Protoboard

- Cables (jumpers)

Step 1: Hopper

Project outline and functioning

The operation of the filament extruder is not very complex after

have taken into account the formulas for heating the type of plastic, volume, etc.

It would only remain to know what each component of the injector is for

-Hopper: is the funnel where the crushed or cut plastic is deposited

in my case I use the spout of a bottle of Incakola that can be removed

when the temperature required to inject the plastic is very high.

Step 2: Husillo

It is in charge of transporting and crushing the plastic through the hot steel tube so that it then comes out through the nozzle. In my case, I use a twist drill.

Step 3: Gear Motor

Step 4: Coupling

Step 5: Arduino

Step 6: Solid State Relay

in charge of regulating the input voltage in the resistance and in the control of the reducer motor.In this case we put a solid state relay
