Introduction: Jack'O Hades
I have entered the Pumpkin Carving Contest because I loved carving pumpkins when I was a kid and seeing what cool ideas I could make. I’ve always wanted to be able to carve a pumpkin with more ideas and props then I ever have before and now I finally get that chance. I wanted to make a gory, scary, hideous jack-o-lantern… whether I win or not…
I started this project with a sketch of what I want to make so I could have a visible idea. Then I went into Inventor and made a 3D model of the possible props i wanted. I Printed out demon horns to make it look cooler. Not many people get to use a computer to make something… especially not anything for a pumpkin... so I took advantage of my opportunities. Wouldn’t you?
Step 1: First I Found a Pumpkin to Do My Carvings On
Step 2: Next I Sketched a Few Possible Designs for the Pumpkin Before I Started Carving.
Step 3: Then I Had My Possible Designs Reviewed by a Handful of People to Get Their Opinion.
Step 4: I Then Gutted the Pumpkin, and Started Cutting the Face Into It.
Step 5: After That I Made My 3D Horns in the Inventor Software.
Step 6: I Printed the Horns in Glow in the Dark Plastic.
Step 7: I Then Stuck My Horns Into the Pumpkin in the Way I Wanted Them to Be Placed.

This is a cool idea. Do you have any progress photos from when you were making it? Just for reference if you would like to break down the steps and add some progress photos so that others can replicate the project then it will receive more attention from the community and be possible to be featured on the site. Here are some helpful guides on how to write out an instructable. https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Create-a-Fe... I look forward to seeing more great content from you!
Thank you,
