Introduction: Jewelry Holder

About: I teach computer science at a K-8 school and am using this account to allow my students to publish instructables. Students are not allowed to create accounts at school.

Do you have jewelry laying around your house? Is so, try making our DIY jewelry holder. This jewelry holder contains an earring rack, a necklace holder, and bracelet holder. There is also a drawer for maybe rings, chains, etc.

Supplies

  1. Variety sizes of foam balls
  2. acrylic paint (color is optional)
  3. tooth picks
  4. paint brushes
  5. pencils
  6. hot glue
  7. scissors
  8. ruler
  9. wooden sticks
  10. cardboard
  11. white tape

Step 1:

Cut out two pieces of cardboard that are both 14in x6 3/4in.

Step 2:

Cut out on a different piece of cardboard. you will need to cut 2 rectangles that are 6 3/4in x 2 1/2in

Step 3:

Cut out one 13 3/4x2 1/2 piece of cardboard

Step 4:

Hot glue the pieces together

Step 5:

Tape a paper towel roll with any type of tape

Step 6:

Hot glue the paper towel roll onto the box

Step 7:

Cut out 6 3inx3in pieces of cardboard

Step 8:

Hot glue the pieces to make a box

Step 9:

Hot glue the box to the paper towel roll

Step 10:

Cut 2 little pieces of wooden dowels

Step 11:

Hot glue each of the small wooden dowels to 2 separate pieces of big wooden dowels

Step 12:

Hot glue the wooden dowels to the box

Step 13:

Cut a 2 1/2inx10 1/2in rectangle pieces of cardboard

Step 14:

Hot glue the rectangle pieces of cardboard to the box

Step 15:

Cut a 7inx12 1/2in pieces of cardboard

Step 16:

Cut out 2 2inx12 1/2in pieces of cardboard

Step 17:

Cut out 2 2inx7in pieces of cardboard

Step 18:

Hot glue the pieces together

Step 19:

Hot glue a foam ball to the front

Step 20:

Paint the structure any color all around

Step 21:

Poke holes on the top flap
