About: I have a military Background and a Background in Humanitarian Help and Urban Search and Rescue I was Trained in quiet a few things including Survival. I am a big fan of McGyver and Inspector Gadets. Does it sh…

I have a few Knives since I do a lot of outdoor stuff and sometimes to thread them and take them off a belt all the time was slightly frustrating and I thought on a gun you get a Paddle so you can slip it into your pants and out again without hassle, so why not a knife? Since I seen a few seasons of McGyver (the origional series I might add) I thought well heck if he can so can I!

Supplies

Basicly you only need three things for this (well maybe 4 if you use a pair of pliers or such, you´ll see)

1) I have the target knfe in question which has a loop on the Sheath

2) I have a Glasses fixing clip

3) I have a method of fixing the two together

Step 1: Getting All Tied Up

Really this is so easy I dont see how I can do this in a lot of Steps.

I looked for something which I could use as a clip or paddle and found a glasses clip for Autos/cars which you clip onto the sunvisor and you can then store sunglasses or such in the clip. I found it to be quiet thick/stable.

Next I looked for a way of joining you could easily use cable ties (now you know what the pliers are for!)

But I found a Velcro Band from something and simply threaded it through the Loop of the sheath and clip and slipped it into my Jeans, after some testing can say it was ok.

Yes I know there are better things/ways (Hey, tell me about them) and I could have cut down the Band, but I just wanted to see if it was do-able.

Step 2: A Cut Above the Rest

Well I hope you like this, maybe adaptable for other things, and for all you knife
