Kitty Paw Hamburger

Intro: Kitty Paw Hamburger

I always think that food is the best ice-breaker. My friend, David, considers that kitchen is the most important part in his mini Fab Lab caravan. Most ideas come out at gathering dinner. Machines are just tools to achieve them.

Me personally love the convenience of hamburger most. There are always a lot of pre-cooked hamburgers in my refrigerator. Other ingredients, like bread, veg, tomato....add whatever you like, fun and never fail.

Ingredients

350g Beef mince

half Onion

10 Pickled green plum

1 teaspoon Cooking wine

1 teaspoon Soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Sugar

1/2 teaspoon Pepper

STEP 1: Chop Half Onion

STEP 2: Chop the Plums

Instead of pickles, this time I tried pickled green plums. It turned out great ! Taste no greasy. Must try!

STEP 3: Mixing Everything!

Too easy to describe....just blend them! Don't worry about the taste, you can always add sauce when eating.

STEP 4: Shaping

First put small amount of mixed mince into the bottom of baking molds to shape the paws. Then fill it up to 80%.Make sure there is no air inside.

STEP 5: Steaming for 5-10 Mins

Pile all the moulds up in a big wok, and steam them about 5-10 mins. I only use 100 ml water. It is not necessary to fried them, unless you want the paws turning dark colour.

STEP 6: Serving and Enjoying !

Serving with lettuce leaves, cheese, mango, and avocado. Healthy, easy, but still tasty. Rest hamburger can be kept in refrigerator and fried in a later time.

This recipe is really easy. Hope you like it!

Very cute but creeping me out a bit though, like I am eating cat, haha! Seriously though, thanks for the cute idea, presentation with mango and aocado looks and sounds great, too.

Haha, They are not just sounds good. They are soul mate.LOL

Maybe I should rename the article.Do you have any advice?

Oh, I just saw mnorelec82's answer. As for me, it did not turn me off or offend me, and I did not for a second really think they were actually made of you know what, don't want to conjure up an image here... Title is just fine with me. Kinda sorry I brought it up now.

No need to sorry. Your reply is totally fine and funny. Because English is not my mother tongue. I just wonder if there is a better way to describe.

Every time I think that she may not ever try gummy bear in her life, I feel sorry for her. lol

I had to to look what 3q meant

oh! My bad, I forgot it refers to Chinese, means thanks you~

It's No big deal.

The name and shape of the patty is deff a turn off for me. I don't think I could ever down something called a kitty paw hamburger or anthing in the shape of a a cat body part.

Surprised and don't mean to upset anyone. As a cat person, I always love everything like cat. Coffee cream, cookies, muffins...Lots of food looks like cat. Perhaps I am a cold-blood. lol

No need to worry. Those paws are just baking moulds that sell everywhere. Normally ppl use them for cookies or cake. I just try to discovery a new way to cook. Are paws and hamburger bad combination for you? Feel free to try this recipe without moulds. Good food can ease the tension.^^
