Intro: K'nex Jigsaw Lift

Hello there,
today I present you the K'nex Jigsaw Lift, please keep in mind that bezempje95 originally invented it, but as he deleted his account/ibles/all his stuff I present you my version of it, with instructions.
This one also features a counterweight, making the lift run a tad more smoothley.

Just follow along the pictures and be sure to read the image notes!

I hope you enjoy it!

STEP 2: The Base

With what else should you start than a base?
Well, a floating lift would be kinda cool....

STEP 3: The Counterweight

Hey, why not build the counterweight before building the actual lift?

STEP 4: The Front Frame

Ok, this is the first actual part of the lift.

STEP 5: Cranks

We somehow have to get this thing going up and down, don't we?

STEP 6: The Lifter

This is what will hold the balls.

STEP 7: Back Frame

If there is a front frame there has to be a back frame...

STEP 8: Various Stuff

Misc stuff like exit track and the crank for the counter weight.

STEP 9: Gears

Finishing all up with the gearing!

STEP 10: Done!

Congradulations, you just finished making the jigsaw lift!
Be sure to switch the motor to the right and watch your balls getting transported up!
No worries, you won't need that many balls ;)

Thank you for making this lift!

I made it it is amazing

Looking nice, and thanks!

I'm looking at the same lift that I built about 6 months ago.. I believe its the old version. I was also thinking I should make an 'ible for it as the pictures and instructions were not so good and I had to do a lot of tinkering to get it to work. Is there room here for 2 'ibles for almost the same lift? I am going to build yours to compare the 2 side by side..

Uh, sure.

Just keep in mind that I didn't invent the lift, bezempje95 did but he somehow vanished along with all his instructions.

I remember building the old version a long time ago. Not only does this one seem to work better, it is more appealing. The counterweight reminds me of a piston in a car engine, so much fun to watch! Great modifications!

Nice lift! its so trustworthy, I guesss, im goign to build that tommorow or saturday! :D

Nice! I will have to make this lift! So mechanically cool!.

Nice, so as I already said on YouTube.. :)

YAY! Finally Instructions for this! You did a great job. I like how you modified it too :-)
