Step 1: 3D Printing

At first I 3D printed some parts for my Ringlamp

This time I made the parts a bit more ergonomic,because the lower part (bottom / lid stl.) Looked quite chunky

-> Bottum case / lid (4.hours)

-> Ring (7 hours)

Step 2: Cut and Strip the Cable

1:In this step I stripped the cable from the controller and cut off 2 pieces of a 3pin cable and also stripped the insulation off, because the 2 led strips will later run together. It is important not to confuse the clock pin with the data pin, so it is best to shorten it by approx. 1cm so that it is not confused. However, the shrink tubing should still cover the pin

2:I also cut down several smaller and larger shrink tubings to isolate the wires.

Step 3: Cut the Led Strip

In this step I cut 2 strips off the Led srip

Step 4: Soldering

First I soldered the 2 3 pin cables together and finally soldered the 2 ends to the respective Led strip. I soldered the other end to the stripped controller cable.

Step 5: Glue the LED Strip Into the Ring

A hot glue gun is very helpful in this step, as the adhesive strip sometimes does not hold or open well.

Step 6: Put Everything Together and Accommodate

Now you have to thread the cable through the technical housing and stow everything well. The output of the controller must be attached to the hole in the housing (hot glue)

Step 7: Finally, Screw the Screws Into the Bottom of the House

Step 8: Finish
