Intro: Laptop Stand (based on IKEA Brackets)

Create this stand took less than 20 minutes.

I used two brackets VALTER from IKEA piece of wood , 2 screws and old mouse pad.

STEP 1: Prepare for Cutting

Mark line on the one side of the brackets with pencil.

STEP 2: Cutting the Edges

Cut the edge on one side of bracket. Keep cutted pieces we will use them in next step.

STEP 3: Fixing Holders

Now take cutted edges and fix them in oposite direction to the bottom part of bracket.
Glue gun will do just fine.

STEP 4: Measure

Measure your laptop to find what distance is best for you.
Make sure that brackets wont cover your laptop fan (if located on bottom of laptop)
Cut piece of wood and drill holes.

STEP 5: Wraping Up

Fix brackets together with glue gun and screws.
Aditionaly you can add soem softpads to avoid scratches.

This project looks awesome but there isn't enough documentation of you actually making it to be a full Instructable. There are two things which you could do. 1) If you happen to have images of you making your project you can create some more steps, add those additional photos into your Instructable and then republish your Instructable. 2) If you don't have any more pictures of you working on your project, that's ok too. That just means that your project is better suited to be submitted as a slideshow. Your images are already in your library, and you can use the same text that you have already written for your Instructable so it should only take a few minutes to create your slideshow and show the world what you made! Thanks for your submission and let me know if you have any questions along the way.
good instructable, how much would it cost for both of those pieces form Ikea?
Thanks! I can't wait to make this for my new laptop!
