Laser Engraved Keychain

Want a new key chain for your keys? Make one yourself! You can make your own keychain with any design you'd like.

Supplies

• CorelDraw Program
• Acrylic Sheet
• Laser Engraver

Step 1: Open Up CorelDraw

Open up CorelDraw and start a new document. Set up the page dimensions to fit your laser engraver.

Step 2: Create Shape

Draw the desired shape of your keychain, and add a hole. Keychain holes are usually around 0.2 inches. Set the shape and hole to hairline. This makes it easier to differentiate what needs to be cut out.

Step 3: Bring an Image In

Import an image into the document, preferably a black and white vector image or a PNG. The background of a black and white image can be removed using outline trace. Drag the image into your keychain shape.

Step 4: Print

Adjust the print settings to your personal preference and hit print to send the job to the laser engraver. Run your program and you're done!
