Launch your Rocket
This is a fun craft for all space loving kids. This space shuttle is very simple to make and is also interactive: pull out the string to make the space shuttle reach the moon.
Time: 10 minutes
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy
Materials
- Piece of cardboard
- A straw
- Cotton string
- Sticky tape, scissors
- Marker and pen
Step 1: Step: 1
Draw a space shuttle, two small triangles and a round shape on the piece of cardboard and cut along.
Step 2: Step:2
Colour the shapes with markers if desired.
Step 3: Step: 3
Cut the straw into small two pieces. Insert string in both straw pieces and tape at the back as in the picture below.
Step 4: Step : 4
Tape the moon to a wall and pull out the string ends (triangles) to make the space shuttle go up and release.

Hi! I know this comment is like 5 years late, but I have a tip for Step 4.
You can use blue sticker to put the moon to the wall.
