Introduction: Lego Brick Launcher

This is a guide to creating a launcher made out of legos that will shoot tiny lego pieces. The whole project took me about 2 hours to build, collect pieces, and test.

Step 1: The Parts of the Launcher

To get what you need to build the Lego Brick Launcher you need to gather these parts to make the Lego Brick Launcher. The color of a piece does not matter when finding which you need. But the sizes shown in the pictures are recommended but not required to use, you might have to improvise if you don't have the size of the piece. And if you don't have the piece improvise on what you are going to do. (For me some of the parts I used to create are not there, so feel free to add parts to use, or not use some parts.)

Step 2: Clip Part 1

First, you will need the parts shown in the picture to the left, next using those parts to make the assembled image to the right. And you will need to put that to the side after completion of the assembled image to the right.

Step 3: Clip Part 2

Second, you will need to gather the parts shown in the image on the left, after you have gathered the parts on the left, you will put them together to create the assembled lego in the picture to the right. And you will put that to the side for now.

Step 4: Clip Part 3

Third, you will need to get the pieces shown in the image on the left. Next using the pieces gathered from the image on the left, you will assemble them to create the two legos shown in the image on the right. And after that you will put it to the side for later use.

Step 5: Clip Part 4

Fourth, you will need to gather the pieces shown in the image on the left. After gathering the pieces in the image on the left, using those pieces you will use them to assemble the Legos shown in the image to the right. After assembling the legos in the image to the right, using the pieces in the image on the left. You will put the assembled legos to the side for later use.

Step 6: Clip Assembly

Next, you need the collect all of the clip parts that you built, shown on the left. Using all the clip parts you built from the previous steps, you will put them together to create the assembled lego piece shown in the image to the right. For now that lego part in the image to the right will be the clip, you will put that to the side for now.

Step 7: Barrel Part 1

First, you will gather the parts shown in the image on the left. Next using the lego pieces shown in the image on the left, you will put them together to create the lego in the image to the right. This will be the first part of the barrel. And for now, you will put that to the side.

Step 8: Barrel Part 2

Second, you will need to gather the pieces shown in the image on the left. After gathering the pieces shown in the image on the left, using those pieces you will create the two lego parts shown in the image to the right. This will be the second part of the barrel. For now, you will put it to the side for later use.

Step 9: Barrel Part 3

Third, you will need to gather the pieces that are shown in the image on the left. After you have got the pieces that are shown in the image on the left, using those pieces you will put them together to create two lego parts shown in the image on the right, each one the same as the other. This will be the third part of the barrel. For now, you will put it to the side.

Step 10: Barrel Assembly

Next, you will need to get all the lego parts shown in the picture to the left, which is basically all the three parts that make up the barrel. Next using the three parts of the barrel created from previous steps, you will put them together to create to barrel shown in the image to the right. For now, this will go to the side for later use.

Step 11: Finishing the Clip

Next, you will need to get all the parts shown in the image on the left, which is one rubber band and the clip. Using the rubber band and the clip, you will attach the rubber band to the clip, just as shown in the image in the middle, and the image to the right. This will be the finished clip and will go to the side for now.

Step 12: Finalizing the Barrel

Next, using the three rubber bands and the barrel shown in the image to the left. You will put the rubber bands and barrel together to create the image in the middle and the image to the right. This will be the finished clip and will go to the side for now.

Step 13: Launcher Ammo

Next, you will gather however many bricks or pieces that you want, that are shown in the image to the left, and with the finished barrel, you will put the tiny lego pieces in the top of the barrel shown in the image to the right. The black lego piece is not required it is just to make sure that the ammo does not fall out of the clip. This is the first part of the launcher.

Step 14: The Lego Brick Launcher

Next, you will gather the finished barrel completed in previous steps, and the ammo clip completed in previous steps, shown in the image to the left. And put them together, where the ammo clip goes in the bottom of the barrel. I took off the not required ammo holding piece to put it together. This is the completed lego brick launcher.

Step 15: The Lego Brick Launcher in Action

This video just shows how you can fire it and how it works. To fire it, you pull back the end of the launcher and let it go when you see the clip go up and make a noise, the ammo comes out a hole in the front. To reload the launcher you remove the clip put the Lego pieces back in and attach it back to the bottom of the barrel.
