Light Synced Speaker

In this project I make a light synced color changing LED.
Normal LEDs don't work.
They only work with transistors and stuff but I'm trying to make this as simple as possible :)

Step 1: Parts

To make the color changing light synced speaker you need-

1 speaker
1 color changing led
2 wires that are stripped
1 headphone jack

Step 2: Attach One Wire

Attach one wire of the Led to one wire on the speaker. It dose t matter which wires because we will use AC current.

Step 3: Attach Two Wires

Attach 2 wires to the two remaining wires on the speaker and the Led.

Step 4: Wrap

Wrap the two ends of the wires on these parts of the headphone jack. They need to be touching them.

Step 5: Secure It

Secure the connections with tape.

Step 6: Test

Test the circuit by plugging it in. You need to put the radio or whatever you are going to Use on its highest volume because the LED takes a lot of electricity from the speaker.

Step 7: After Testing

After testing it and seeing if it works you can tape everything to the back. Make sure wires don't touch others.

The bass might be too loud but it still works ._.
