Supplies

tools:

serving plate

spatula

tablespoon measure

spoon

knife

2 bowls

microwave oven

Ingredients:

lemon juice

coconut milk

salted peanuts

2 to 3 crisp apples

water

milk chocolate candy bar

caramel candies

Step 1: Prepare the Apples

Core and slice 2 to 3 apples.

In a bowl, combine 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1/2 cup water. Stir. Dip and coat the apple slices in the lemon water to keep from browning. Arrange the apple slices on the serving plate.

Step 2: Make the Gooey Caramel

Unwrap 10 caramel candies and place in a microwavable bowl. Add 1 tablespoon coconut milk.

Microwave at 100% power for 30 seconds. Stir. Continue microwaving at 10 second intervals until caramel stirs smooth.

Drizzle half of the caramel over the apple slices.

Step 3: Melt the Chocolate Candy Bar

Place the wrapped chocolate bar in the microwave oven. Microwave at 100% power for 30 seconds. Smash with your fingers. Continue microwaving at 10 second intervals until chocolate feels smooth in the wrapper. Cut off a small corner of the wrapper.

Step 4: Finish the Toppings

Smash the chocolate bar wrapper in your hand to drizzle the chocolate over the apples. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup peanuts. Drizzle with remaining caramel. Dig right in and enjoy the gooey goodness!!!

This looks good, but one note; I do not recommend putting the wrapper into the microwave. You would be safer from possible chemical leakage to have it in a glass, or otherwise microwave-safe, receptacle.
