Today, I'm going to show you how to make a simple, yet impressive paper airplane! I do have to give all the credit to this link, however: How To Make The Best Paper Airplane For Long Flights (everydaychaosandcalm.com)
Supplies
- One 11-inch by 8 1/5-inch piece of printer paper
Step 1: Fold in Half
First, fold in half (Hotdog style in case you need clarification). Unfold.
Step 2: Fold Corners
Next, fold the corners into the center line we made in the last step.
Step 3: Fold Down
Now, fold the top corner down to the bottom edge, as shown.
Step 4: Fold Up
Here, fold the corner back up, but stop until the crease reaches the bottom part of the triangles, as shown.
Step 5: Fold Sides
Next, fold the sides all the way down, until it reaches the point.
Step 6: Fold Down
Fold down the corner until it touches the last step's top edges.
Step 7: Flip and Fold
Here, flip the paper over, then fold in half.
Step 8: Fold Wings
Fold the wings down, leaving about a 1/5-inch body. Make sure it's going straight down. Do this with both wings. Then, slightly unfold, bringing the wings up.
Step 9: Fly!
Make sure that the wings are angles very slightly up, and that the thicker end is where the nose is. Then, softly throw the paper airplane.
