Introduction: Loose Leg on Table Fix.

About: Working in a Science Center in Norway. Family father and happe hobbyist in many things. No expert, but will manage as long as I have duck tape and a multitool...

Tools: Glue, hammer, plyer, a pin or equal, ratchet strap and sanding paper.

Step 1: Remove All Loose Bits and Sand Off Old Glue Carefully . Wood Glue Works Best on Bare Wood.

Step 2: Glue It !

Apply a thin layer of glue to pins and surfaces that will meet. Use a small pin to get the glue into small places. Accessive glue can be wiped off with a wet clothe before it dries.

Step 3: Reassembly Parts

Use a hammer to get the pin into place . Then put something in front of the table leg for protecting the wood. A peace of newspaper or flat scrap wood. Then use the hammer to get it all into plase. Because of the glue it can be a bit difficult. Be careful and go slowly. It is building up a pressure inside the holes because of the glue.

Step 4: Tightening Up and Finish.

Last ting to do is to tighten up with a ratchet strap. Be sure to fit it over the joints. Let it rest for at least half an hour to be stable before removing the band. 24h after you can use the table as before. Good luck!

Step 5:

Show it to your partner and get rewarded...
