Step 1:

Connect AA Battery ( + ) To The LED Anode

Step 2:

Connect AA Battery( - ) To SlideSwitch Common  

Step 3:

Connect The Slideswitch Terminal 2 To The Resistor Terminal 1

Step 4:

Connect the resistor terminal 2 to the LED cathode.

Step 5: Hooray! You Have Created a Simple Series Circuit.
