Mini Magnetic Bar: a simple and innovative magnetic bar created using 1.5x8 mm magnetic buttons, housed within a rectangular casing designed and manufactured through 3D printing.

Supplies

3D printers, PLA 1.75 & magnetic buttons 8 x 1.5x8mm

Step 1: Easy

The steps are simple: upload the file to your 3D printer. For this project, I used a BambuLab A1 Mini. During the printing process, just before completion, the printer will pause and wait for you to insert the 8 magnets. Once all the magnets are in place, the print can resume, ensuring the magnets are securely embedded and hidden inside. This straightforward system can also be used to create larger models. For the design work, I used Blender. Easy, right? Have fun! :-)
