Introduction: Make an Easy String Holder (perfect for Strings of Beads)

This is a makeshift jewelry hepler that I got inspired to make when I was making a Christmas gift for someone.

Supplies

The items you will need are:

  • a used paper towel tube
  • a pencil

The only tool you'll need is scissors.

Step 1: Make the Legs

To make the legs:

  1. cut in an I shaped pattern
  2. fold the flaps upward

your legs should look something like the above images

Step 2: Make the Real Holder

To make the real holder:

  1. cut a small slit big enough for the pencil
  2. repeat on the bottom
  3. slide the through the slits

Once again, you should have something like the images.

Step 3: Finishing It Off

to finish it off put a small slit in the opposite side of the pencil. Now all you need to do is wrap your jewelry project on it and put your real of string.
