Here is a quick and simple way to save a few bucks to make your own Mini-LST sway bars. This can also be used to make sway bars for other rc's also.

Things you will need:

Coat hanger (some type of rod that will work)
Needle Nose Pliers
Piece of scrap plastic (I used an old plastic license plate that was pretty thick, an old broken mini-t chassis or something of that thickness will work)
Collars (prevents the bar from coming out, isn't a must, but will help and very cheap)
Screws (If you have a spare set for your rc, than they'll work just fine)
Marker

Step 1: Things You Will Need

Coat hanger (some type of rod that will work)
Needle Nose Pliers
Piece of scrap plastic (I used an old plastic license plate that was pretty thick, an old broken mini-t chassis or something of that thickness will work)
Collars (prevents the bar from coming out, isn't a must, but will help and very cheap)
Screws (If you have a spare set for your rc, than they'll work just fine)

Step 2: Remove Either Your Front or Rear Shock Tower

- Remove either your front or rear shock tower

- Use your straight rod or coat hanger and place between the notches on the bottom of the shock tower (Flip it over and you'll notice a notch cut out on each side)

Step 3: Mark a Line on Each End...

Mark a line on each end of the rod/coat hanger right where the rod come out or off of the shock tower.

Step 4: Use Your Needle Nose And.....

Use your needle nose and hold at the line and than bend (Repeat on other side, make sure your bending them both the same way, towards you for example on both sides, and make it at an angle)

Step 5: Place Shock Tower Back On.

Place the shock tower back on your truck with the sway bar mounted and than line your bends up to where they come across and too your holes on your upper arms

Step 6: Mark With Your Marker.....

Mark with your marker on your bar the center of the holes (than bend them straight out coming towards the front or rear.

Step 7: Trim the Rod or Coat Hanger.

Trim the rod or coat hanger so its not so long.

Step 8: Get Your Piece of Plastic, Aluminum, Etc...

Get your piece of plastic, aluminum, whatever your going to use and cut 2 piece the same size and shape (like in the sway bar kit picture posted)

Step 9: Drill Holes and Mount....

- Now drill your holes in the piece of plastic you just cut (Make sure all your holes line up together on both pieces, its best to just put one ontop of the other and drill through both)

- Screw your plastic piece to your upper arms (1 piece for each side)

Step 10: Finalizing

- Install your sway bar, with the bar coming through the top hole on your plastic piece mounted to the upper arm.

- Install your shock tower back with the sway bar through the cut out notches (screw it all together)

- Everything should be lined up and working fine and back together, here you can add collars to each end of the sway bar to help prevent it from slipping out. I'm not to sure of what size notches are cut out in the sway bar and what size rod that is used, but your collars should be able to slide over the rod and be able to screw down with the grub screw.
