Introduction: Medical Consults Website

Hi, My name is Carlos Natividad

I have a BS in Computer Science and a Masters in Business Administration.
I have worked with streaming real time video for missile testing and web based programming for the past 6 years.
I have created a Limited Liability Company called Polymorphic Applications, but have thus far not commercially published any work or generated any revenue. (Ive only used to publish a couple android apps for free on google play)
I am a new member on instructables but have frequented the site for years since I was in college learning about arduino projects and fun Halloween tricks.

My idea is create a website that will allow not just myself but many more people to find independence when it comes to healthcare. This website shall be the means to manage, discover, and interface between healthcare professionals and regular people in need of their expertise. This website will help people all over world who lack the means to find medical expertise, those who are low income, live in remote areas, or those who dont have the means to transport themselves to an office and wait 2-5 hours to see a doctor or nurse for a 20 min consult. This website shall also organize a medical professionals work, their patient records, and in time shall provide upgrades to interface on their end with the patient by providing image analyzers, language interpreters, and voice analysis tools.

For past three years I have experimenting and learning about the current web technology. Such as the pros and cons of a Linux vs windows vs osx server, how to properly manage an SQL database and protect for any potential exploits that may be used to compromise these systems, hardware and bandwidth requirements, and how rich web content works....HTML 5, CSS 3, JQUERY, Federated Login from google/facebook, PHP5, Javascript, Google Checkout, Paypal Checkout, Actionscript....and much more. This knowledge is invaluable but to my expense since I am Independently working on it. This past December (2011) I has a breakthrough, I was able to create a LAMP(Linux Apache MySQL PHP) server in my home network (isolated from routing unwanted visitors to my home computers) running a free version of Adobe Flash Media Server. With this server I hosted a site that allowed me to video chat in real time with anyone else on the site. In my introduction video I have a working prototype running 48 realtime videos of myself at different angles (to stress test bandwidth, computer resources, and hardware).

I am here now submitting this idea that has cost me time, money, and heartache to get some capital that would allow me to purchase the license to use the full version of Adobe Flash Media Server ($4500), buy the parts to build a proper server ($1500 - $3500), upgrade my existing internet connection to have better bandwidth ($600 annually), polish the server/website and make it available for launch (temp programmers $5000), and finally promote it (The rest $).
