I remember the fun times i had with this tool many years ago. Unfortunately for those who want to try this tool, Microsoft disabled it in Windows service pack 2 and completely removed it in Windows Vista and Windows 7.
This "fun" tool wasn't just useless, resource-wasting but also very insecure since everyone on the network could send anything to eachother. There's a thin line between use and abuse.
For those using Windows XP, press the shortcut windows+R, type "services.msc" in the 'run' dialog and enable "Messenger service". If two or more computers have it enabled one will be able to... send messages to eachother.
To do this one must start the command prompt by typing "cmd" in that same run dialog and entering net send hostname message.
That's all.
Remember: Useless and insecure!

Ummm... What did you say in the Instructable??? I could hardly understand anything you wrote. If you're not going to capitalize and spell things right, at least put in periods so we know where the sentence ends. DYLEGO
