Introduction: Military Alcohol Canister
I recently visited a military museum. The souvenir shop caught my eye, particularly, a curious piece called a canister. It was made for the military to carry with them easily, it is shaped in an oval shape and contains alcohol. Seeing as I had just the bottle resembling that shape, I decided to create a canister for the military.
Supplies
- An old, ruptured jeans - it may be a jacket, trouser, etc.
- Sewing machine.
- Metallic paint colors.
- Mod Podge Gloss.
- Perfume (To give it final touches and remove the scent of paint).
Step 1: Paint the Bottle.
Paint the complete bottle. In my case, I have decided to paint only the top and the bottom.
Step 2: Sew the Cover.
I have reversed the Jeans cloth, sewn the two pieces and then reversed it again to give it that smooth shape with no protuberances. I cut the cloth from a Jeans, but any other material may be used. I would have preferred to use a rubber cover instead in which case, chose to sew it or glue it. Make markings related to the bottle such that the cloth should be a perfect fit.
Step 3: Drink Up!
I sprayed a few drops of a really strong perfume to give it the feel of a luxury piece.
