Introduction: Minecraft Treasure Chest
Using this instructable, https://www.instructables.com/id/minecraft-chest/ , I was commissioned by my girlfriends son to make this chest for his brother's birthday.
I found some MDF shelving at home depot for $7. It was perfect at 2' X 4'. I made my box 12X12X12 using 1/2" MDF.
Sorry, no build pics. My son wants one also so I will take build pics for that one.

it looks good but
to scale would mean that 16x16x16 = 1 meter x 1 meter x 1 meter
which means the chest should be 87.5 x 87.5 x 87.5 in centimetres
since it says on the minecraft wiki 1 block = 1 meter
it's still awesome though!

Thanks.
Just used what I found. The wood was 24" wide so I ripped it to 12".
