Introduction: Mini Light House

About: Hello, I’m Robsterlog and I love crafting with cardboard and other materials.

This mini sized light house shines brightly at night and is beautiful during the day.

Supplies

  1. Cardboard
  2. Hot glue gun
  3. 2 1.5 volt batterie pack
  4. Red wire
  5. Black wire
  6. Tracing paper
  7. Mini Light bulb
  8. Mini light bulb socket

Step 1: Gathering Materials and Making the Base

  1. cut out two squares about 3 inches wide.
  2. Make 4 rectangles the same lengths of the squares.
  3. Cut a hole in the side of one of the rectangles, large enough for the switch to fit through.
  4. Connect the wires together, making sure not to short circuit anything.
  5. Attach the wiring to the inside of the base.
  6. Cut a hole in the middle of the second square.
  7. Pull wiring through the hole in the square.
  8. Attach the square.

Step 2: Making the Walls

  1. from 2 pieces of cardboard about 9 inches high, peel off one side.
  2. Make a cylinder with the cerated side out.
  3. Attach the cylinder to the base.
  4. Pull the wires through.
  5. Attach a second cylinder on the inside of the first one.
  6. Pull the wires through.

Step 3: Light

  1. make a circle the size of the cylinder.
  2. Cut a hole in it.
  3. Attach the circle to the top of the wall.
  4. Attach light.
  5. Cut out five cardboard “poles.’’
  6. Glue them to the inside of the light room.

Step 4: Finishing

  1. cut a hinge around the bottom of the battery pack so you can replace old batteries.
  2. Cut out the tracing paper so it will fit around the inside of the “poles”.
  3. Glue it on.
  4. Cut out 9 or 10 circles and attack them.
  5. Put a point on the top to finish!
