Introduction: Mini Tardis

What you'll need:
-A block of wood
-A ruler or tape measure
-A pencil
-Blue spraypaint
-Lighter blue, white, black, and silver or gray acrylic paint
-Some paintbrushes
-A saw
-Some paper and a printer
-Some tiny hinges
-A tiny block of wood
-Some elmer's glue
-And a partridge in a pear tree

Step 1: The Math

The dimensions for Tardis are 90.5" x 48" so i created a rate and made it 8.2" x 1.5". You can make it whatever size you want as long as you keep the measurement

Step 2: Cutting It Out

I got my dad to cut it out with a saw and arranged it how it should be

Step 3: Painting

I spraypainted it dark blue and put on the acrylic paint in the Tardis design. Try not to get paint on the inside where the main cut is because there is going to be something else there.

Step 4: Putting It All Together

This is when the printer, hinges, and the latch come into play. I printed off a picture of the console room of the Tardis and glued it on with a thin coat of Elmers. Spread the glue with a q-tip so that it doesn't bleed through the picture. I put the hinges on with a screwdriver. Then I put some paint just to make it look a bit like it was. Let all this dry then paint the small cube to be the light on the top. Glue it to the. Larger of the wooden pieces, but make sure it doesn't get glued to the smaller two. Once all this is done, you have yourself a mini Tardis!
